What should you pay for a Wedding Celebrant?

What should I pay for a Wedding Celebrant?

You have a budget for your Wedding. What should you allow for your Wedding Celebrant?

To make a wedding legal there are 3 things that must occur as well as completing necessary legal documents. The rest of the ceremony is up you to plan with the assistance of your Celebrant.

The reason I am a Celebrant is that I love talking to people and sharing stories. My role then is to relate this to guests in a way that represents you as a couple and makes your day completely unique. I have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the areas of Education and the Performing Arts and believe that one of my key strengths is communication.

I have 3 basic service agreements that I can share with you. The service agreements and fees are there to start a conversation. I prefer to meet with a couple first, then negotiate the style of Wedding and associated fees if you believe I can fulfill your requirements.

My fees start at $500 for a simple No Fuss, “legals only” Ceremony of 7-10 minutes. From there you may work towards a fully personalised ceremony, $1,100, which can include music, readings, sub ceremonies and involve other family members, friends or even pets!

Everything is up for negotiation and discussion.

It’s all about love. “If you love for love”

As a musician I love the work of the famous composer Gustav Mahler. This sonate perfectly captures the meaning of LOVE.

Readings can make a ceremony special and it is a wonderful way to involve a family member or close friend.

If you love for beauty,

Oh do not love me!

Love the sun,

She has golden hair!

If you love for youth,

Oh, do not love me!

Love the spring;

It is young every year!

If you love for treasure,

Oh, do not love me!

Love the mermaid;

She has many clear pearls!

If you love for love,

Oh yes, do love me!

Love me ever,

I’ll love you evermore!
